Yesterday the final preparations for our trip were completed.
First, I moved my stuff to the storage locker I’ve rented. Amazingly we (myself and my generous friend, Sven) managed it in two journeys. And I didn’t need to rent a larger space, as I’d feared I would. So now all my worldly possessions are in a locker in Altona, Hamburg. Well, all except the ones I’m taking with me.
Then, later, I signed the paperwork at the notary making my departure from my company official. I can’t really call myself unemployed as I still receive salary. I’ve considered many titles to describe my current situation and settled on “adventurer”. However, my companion informs me I’m premature and can’t use this until after the road trip :/
So, now all that’s left to do is to wait for all of my Amazon orders to arrive, and of course to not miss the flight next week.
And I think I’ll start using “adventurer” anyway. 😛
