Back in the early 2000s, before social media made everyone a reviewer and AI could transcribe your audio for you (hi Jarvis), I was breathing and dreaming in rock and metal, writing for platforms like Powermetal.de, German Rock Magazine, Ice-Vajal.com, and a few others. Most of it was unpaid, chaotic, occasionally awkward, but always worth it.

What follows is a list of most of the bands I interviewed during that time, some published under Nadja Meyer, others under my aliases Purrfectfire or Liquid Fire. Some interviews I’ve restored and reuploaded to the blog. Others are buried in old hard drives or, worse, lost to formatting crashes and forum shutdowns.

If you were there, worked with me, or somehow still have clippings, recordings, PDFs, or even vague memories, I’d love to hear from you.
